Random ramblings

There are times when you were doing work and there's things on your mind that you'd like to tell someone. But there's no one around. I've been resisting moments like this to blog, cos I felt my blog has to be about art. But what the heck. Art's bout life. And right now in my life i want to say something random... actually i forgot what exactly that I wanted to say. I think it's somewhere along the lines of "aaarggh, there's so many books i want to read, so many movies I've yet to watch, so much homework I've yet to finish, things to plan and do, doodles that I'd like to doodle, things to paint and sketch...but i don't seem to be getting round to it. Right now i need to do some cleaning, everything is everywhere!"

There....i let it out, back to work i guess.

Eternity in an hour...

It was in class a few weeks back when my classmate Xiao Qing did some research on Earth Day for her pop up card. Being a busy body, i read though her stack of print out notes and came upon a poem which i really liked ...

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a Heaven in a wild flower;
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

tasukete!

Was in Carefour with my sister yesterday when i saw this poor little bunny hanging upside down from the shelves. The only one left of its kind, looking lost among all the sheep and other creature. So i took this picture and gave it a bubble speech.

The View

The window in the living room of my rented flat in my 3rd year in University of Bristol opens to a view full of roof-tops and chimneys stacked up like a puzzle. Quite romantic and mysterious in my opinion.
I took a quick sketch when I should be studying for my finals. One always find thousands of interesting projects to do when u know u should be studying for the exams!

Bristol Games 2004

In my 3rd year at Bristol, I was asked to help create the poster for the Bristol Games organised by the MSSA (Malaysian Singaporean Students' Association).

They had a baby panther as a mascot in 2003 and now they wanted the panther a little more grown up. So i created a mischievous 10 years old panther( that looks more like a cat).
